I have been working on getting all our fall decorations up around the house. I just love this time of the year with the cooler temperatures and the smell of my pumpkin spice candle burning. However we are still waiting for those cooler temperatures. It looks like we might have a few cooler days this week. It's been an extremely hot a dry year. It's only my second summer here and I'm told that this is not normal and that during the summer we rarely have days that hits 100.  I am ready for it to be over and fall to arrive and maybe even an early long winter with lots of snow.

My mother in law gave me these pumpkins from her garden and the corn stalks. Perfect for decorating my front porch!

Wayne and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary June 11, 2012 I can't believe how fast the time has gone. I remember the day like it was just yesterday. I am so thankful that the Lord brought us together. It has been such a wonderful year being able to share it together. He is truly an amazing husband. I love you babe!

Wayne surprised me with a kitchen table that he made for my anniversary gift. It is just beautiful! He said he had a time trying to keep it a secret from me. He said I almost blew it a number of times, but I had no clue he was even making anything for me. I just love it!

We took a little mini vacation to Colorado to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed a few nights at the Sheldon's vacation home in Frisco CO. We stayed there on our honeymoon too so it was fun to be able to spend our first anniversary there. After are two nights in Frisco we headed to Parker and stayed two nights with Bob and Sharon Cotnor. We had a nice time being able to visit with them. Sharon always does such a good job at hosting. She prepared a yummy dinner for us Saturday night and Molly came over a joined us too.

Wayne had never been up to Pikes Peak so we took a day and rode the cog railroad up to the top. When we got to the top it was so cold and even started to snow some.

Chuck E Cheese with the Lillvik's

Wayne and Abigail racing

I think Alice took a dozen photos, as you can tell by the stack she has in her hand. LOL

Wayne and I spent the afternoon at the beach. For it being December it was sure beautiful and warm out! We enjoyed every minute of it! We walked around the harbor a bit and stopped for some ice cream.

Peter, Tracy, Gregory, Wayne and I all went to Universal Studios together. It was Wayne's first time at a theme park. We were able to ride all the ride before things got to crowded. We had a great time together!

It's been awhile since I last posted in November. Wayne and I took a good 2 week trip to CA to spend Christmas with the family. We first drove to see Lacey in Belton MO and stayed a couple days. It was nice to spend sometime with them and see their new place. They boys are sure cute! They loved Wayne and had fun wrestling with each other.
